Meticulously crafted by mother Nami and daughter Catherine, the clay is made from scratch using Okinawan clay and river water, resulting in a rough, handcrafted finish that is proof of "Made in Okinawa" ! The pottery is decorated with various Okinawan-themed patterns, vividly showcasing the beauty of Okinawa's nature , making you feel as if you are actually in Okinawa.

Although Catherine was exposed to pottery from a young age under the influence and education of her parents, she didn't truly pursue pottery as a career until she was 27! She moved to New Zealand with her younger brother who was studying there, and this trip became a turning point in her life. In the workshop of ceramic artist Barry Brickell, she rediscovered the joy of pottery.
