Awamori is Japan's oldest distilled liquor. Since it contains no other sugars or proteins, it has fewer calories than other brewed liquors. It contains fewer impurities, so it is less likely to cause a hangover. Whether you drink it directly or with ice or soda water, it is still sweet and refreshing. Awamori-"old sake" that has been matured for more than 3 years is particularly fragrant.
Today, I will use Awamori to make two fresh and delicious desserts and special drinks with you. Why not give it a try and taste another kind of Awamori’s fun!
Lemon Awamori Special Drink
Material:
- Okinawa Awamori 150ml
- Lemon juice 50ml
- Soda water 150ml
step:
- Add awamori first, then add lemon juice and soda water, mix well.
- Add ice and enjoy.
Okinawa Awamori Raw Chocolate
Material:
- chocolate bricks 100g
- butter 8g
- light cream 2 tablespoons
- Okinawa Awamori 2-3 tablespoons
- chocolate powder Appropriate amount
step:
- Cut the chocolate bricks into small pieces with a knife, place them in hot water and heat until melted. Set aside.
- Add butter and light cream to the chocolate in ①, stir until smooth, then pour into awamori and mix well. (You can adjust the amount of awamori to your liking).
- Line the mold with butter paper, pour in the chocolate from ②, and refrigerate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until solidified.
- After taking it out of the refrigerator, use a knife to cut the raw chocolate into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle cocoa powder on each side.
