Sea grapes are a specialty of Okinawa, also known as "green caviar." They can be enjoyed with a vinegar and soy sauce dressing or made into sushi, offering a unique and delightful texture. Biting into these beautiful little green berries releases a fragrant, briny aroma. They can also be paired with tuna, sashimi, and other seafood, adding a beautiful visual appeal when plated.
Today, we'll show you how to make two simple and delicious appetizers using sea grapes, adding a touch of culinary delight to your meal!

Sea grapes and smoked salmon appetizer

Material:
- 1 cucumber
- Smoked salmon (as needed)
- 1/8 of an onion
- Potatoes (Detailed) 1
- about 1 tablespoon of milk
- sea grapes (as needed)
step:
1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into appropriate sizes, and then boil them in water (the water level should not cover the potatoes; just enough to see them above the surface). Chop the onion, rinse it with water, and drain off any excess water.
2. After the potatoes are cooked, drain the water from the pot, then mash the potatoes with a masher. Pour in the milk, heat over low heat, and stir with a spatula until the mashed potatoes become smooth. Turn off the heat. Finally, add the drained onions and mix well.
3. Use a peeler to cut the cucumber into long, thin slices, then use kitchen paper to absorb the excess water.
4. Place smoked salmon and mashed potato balls on cucumber slices, then roll them up.
5. Finally, add sea grapes to the top of section ④.
