Sea grapes are a specialty of Okinawa, also known as "green caviar." Enjoy the interesting texture of sea grapes by drizzling them with vinegar and soy sauce or making them into sushi. When you bite these beautiful green pellets into your mouth, they emit a sea-flavored aroma. You can also enjoy it with tuna and other sashimi and other seafood to add a beautiful visual effect when serving.

Today, I will use sea grapes to make two simple and delicious appetizers with you, adding an appetizer to the table!

Appetizer of sea grapes and island tofu

Material:

  • Appropriate amount of sea grapes
  • Okinawa tofu
  • 1 spherical radish
  • Moderate amount of olive oil
  • Appropriate amount of salt
  • Appropriate amount of black pepper coarse grains

step:

1. Cut the island tofu into bite-sized pieces, boil it in boiling water, then put it in a pot and sieve out excess water.
2. Place ① island tofu on a plate, add spherical radish and sea grapes cut into rounds, and finally drizzle with olive oil and add salt and black pepper.

Sea Grapes and Smoked Salmon Appetizer

Material:

  • 1 cucumber
  • Smoked salmon in moderation
  • 1/8 onion
  • Potato (fine) 1 piece
  • About 1 tablespoon milk
  • Appropriate amount of sea grapes

step:

1. Remove the skin from the potatoes, cut them into appropriate sizes, and boil them in water (the amount of water should not cover the potatoes, so that you can see the potatoes emerging from the water). Chop the onions, rinse with water, remove excess water and set aside.
2. After the potatoes are cooked, pour out the water in the pot, crush the potatoes with a masher, then pour in the milk, heat over low heat, stir with a spatula until the potato puree becomes smooth, then turn off the heat. Finally add the onions from which the water has been removed and mix well.
3. Use a peeler to cut cucumber into long slices, and then use kitchen paper to absorb excess water.

4. Place smoked salmon and potato puree rolled into balls on the cucumber slices, then roll into shape.
